Water Service Elite does not provide installation services for online purchases shipped outside of California. Installation of water treatment equipment purchased through this website must be performed by a licensed plumbing professional in accordance with local plumbing codes and manufacturer installation instructions.

Water Service Elite is not responsible for installation services performed by customers, contractors, plumbers, or third parties.

2. Professional Installation Requirement

All water filtration, reverse osmosis, water softening, and water treatment systems must be installed by a qualified licensed plumbing professional.

Improper installation may result in:

• water leaks
• property damage
• plumbing damage
• system failure
• personal injury

Water Service Elite assumes no responsibility for damages resulting from improper installation, plumbing modifications, or installation performed by third parties.

3. Leak Detection and Automatic Shutoff Systems

Permanently installed water treatment equipment may present a risk of water leakage or property damage if improperly installed, maintained, or monitored.

Water Service Elite strongly recommends the use of automatic leak detection and water shutoff systems to reduce the risk of water damage.

For installations performed directly by Water Service Elite, leak detection and automatic shutoff systems may be included as mandatory safety components.

Online equipment purchases may offer leak detection protection as an optional add-on. If a customer declines available leak protection options, the customer accepts the risks associated with operating plumbing equipment without automatic leak shutoff protection.

Leak detection devices are designed to reduce risk but cannot eliminate all risks of water damage.

4. Customer Monitoring Responsibilities

Certain leak detection and monitoring systems rely on wireless communication, internet connectivity, mobile applications, and power supply to function properly.

Customers are solely responsible for:

• maintaining internet connectivity and WiFi networks
• maintaining electrical power to monitoring devices
• replacing batteries in sensors or devices when required
• ensuring monitoring applications remain active
• responding promptly to alerts or notifications
• ensuring property managers or responsible parties receive alerts

Failure to maintain connectivity or respond to system alerts may result in water damage.

Water Service Elite is not responsible for damages resulting from failure to monitor or respond to system alerts.

5. Connectivity Disclaimer

Wireless communication networks, internet service providers, routers, mobile devices, and third-party monitoring platforms are outside the control of Water Service Elite.

Water Service Elite does not guarantee uninterrupted connectivity, monitoring functionality, or notification delivery for any smart monitoring systems.

6. Pressure Regulation and Plumbing Conditions

Water Service Elite systems may include pressure sensors or may require pressure regulators or pressure relief valves to reduce system stress.

Customers are responsible for maintaining plumbing pressure within safe operating ranges. Excessive water pressure or pressure spikes may cause plumbing or equipment failure.

Water Service Elite is not responsible for damages resulting from abnormal plumbing pressure, pressure spikes, or plumbing system failures within the property.

7. Reverse Osmosis System Considerations

Reverse osmosis systems contain pressurized storage tanks, tubing, valves, and connections which may fail if improperly installed or maintained.

Improper installation or maintenance may result in:

• tubing disconnection
• storage tank failure
• fitting leaks
• housing cracks
• drain line overflow

Professional installation and periodic inspection by qualified plumbing professionals are required to reduce these risks.

8. Existing Leak Detection Systems

If a property contains an existing leak detection or automatic shutoff system not installed by Water Service Elite, the Company does not inspect, verify, monitor, maintain, or guarantee the operational status of such systems.

Water Service Elite assumes no responsibility for the operation, monitoring, maintenance, connectivity, or failure of third-party leak detection devices.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Water Service Elite shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of products purchased through this website.

This includes, but is not limited to:

•water damage
• property damage
• plumbing damage
• flooring or structural damage
• mold remediation
• loss of use
• business interruption

Customer assumes responsibility for the installation, monitoring, and maintenance of all equipment purchased through this website.

10. Warranty

Product warranties are governed by the Water Service Elite Warranty Policy available on the Company website.

Warranty coverage does not apply to damages resulting from:

• improper installation
• plumbing failures
• lack of maintenance
• misuse or modification of equipment
• failure to maintain leak detection systems
• failure to monitor system alerts
• abnormal plumbing pressure

11. Compliance with Local Plumbing Codes

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all equipment is installed in compliance with applicable local plumbing codes, building codes, and regulatory requirements.

Water Service Elite does not guarantee code compliance for installations performed by third parties.

12. Customer Acceptance of Risk

By purchasing products through this website, the Customer acknowledges that plumbing systems and water treatment equipment involve inherent risks when installed in residential or commercial properties.

Customer assumes responsibility for ensuring proper installation, monitoring, maintenance, and safe operation of installed equipment.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of California without regard to conflict of law provisions.

14. Changes to Terms

Water Service Elite reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted on the Company website.

Continued use of the website or purchase of products constitutes acceptance of any revised Terms and Conditions.

16. Shipping, Delivery & Inspection Policy

Water Service Elite carefully packages all products prior to shipment. Once an order has been transferred to a shipping carrier, ownership and responsibility for the shipment pass to the carrier and the customer.

Customers must inspect all packages immediately upon delivery.

If visible shipping damage is present, the customer must:

• document the damage with photographs
• note the damage with the delivery carrier when signing for the shipment
• notify Water Service Elite within 48 hours of delivery

Failure to report shipping damage within 48 hours of delivery may result in denial of any shipping damage claims.

Customers should not install products that appear damaged.

Water Service Elite is not responsible for damages resulting from installation or use of products that were visibly damaged during shipping.

Shipping carriers may require documentation and inspection before approving damage claims. Customers agree to cooperate with any carrier investigation required to process a claim.

Water Service Elite reserves the right to repair, replace, or assist in filing a carrier claim for damaged shipments at its discretion.

17. Freight Carrier Responsibility

Water Service Elite is not responsible for delays, damage, or loss caused by third-party shipping carriers.

All shipments are handled by independent carriers, and delivery timelines are estimates only.

Customers agree that shipping carriers are responsible for transportation of goods once the shipment has been accepted by the carrier.

Water Service Elite will assist customers in filing claims with shipping carriers when necessary but does not guarantee claim approval by the carrier.
